Lewa Downs Wildlife Conservancy is a privately owned wildlife sanctuary in Northern Kenya and is home to a great variety of indigenous species.
Within the park, there are three fabulous lodges and all the profits that they generate are reinvested into environmental and community projects.
The Big Five is easily spotted. It is one of the most expensive conservancies catering for the high end luxury tourist market The game viewing on Lewa Downs is excellent and the bird life is very interesting.
